We’re looking for a Lead Test Engineer to join our team at H2Electro to develop our next generation high-temperature electrolyser stacks and systems.

Within your position you will be dealing with the following topics:

  • You will be responsible for the test environment and equipment.
  • You will be leading test execution at the manufacturing site, including planning and performing assigned product tests, as well as reporting the results.
  • You will be participating in the design of testing protocols.
  • You will be implementing both hands-on and automatic tests.
  • You will be leading tests of components of electrolysers and electrolyser systems under development.
  • You will be identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • You will be managing laboratory assets, including maintenance, calibration, and service.
  • You will be developing, implementing, and ensuring conformity with best practice laboratory standard operating procedures.
  • You will be supporting engineering staff in root cause analyses of test failures and assisting in the development of new test methods.
  • You will be supporting management in procurement, purchasing, and the installation of new equipment.

Therefore, we are seeking a Lead Test Engineer who is pragmatic, hands-on, and possesses considerable experience in the field. Requirements:

  • Relevant higher education.
  • Experience in conducting and defining tests for advanced products with exceptional accuracy (sub-micrometre).
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Familiarity with safety frameworks and a track record of promoting and adhering to health and safety standards, particularly when working with hazardous materials.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced work environment, demonstrating the ability to adapt and prioritize tasks according to changing demands.
  • Knowledge of test philosophy and methodology, and the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
  • Self-driven, analytical, and structured in approach, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills to ensure efficient execution of tasks and projects.
  • Solution-oriented with a solid understanding of business concepts.
  • Quality conscious, with a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Skilled at building consensus around ideas and plans through the establishment of effective professional relationships.
