Minister of Environment Madis Kallas, Minister of Economy and Infrastructure Riina Sikkut and Minister of Entrepreneurship and Information Technology Kristjan Järvan signed the Estonian hydrogen road map on March 3.
With this document, the state wants to give industry and researchers the assurance that the state is interested in developing the field.
The Estonian state has planned to allocate approximately 120 million euros from the European Union and state budget funds for the development of hydrogen production technologies and supply chains over the next five years.
