WILL HYDROGEN SAVE US FROM CLIMATE CATASTROPHE?
This reserve energy can be stored in several ways: in batteries, pumped hydro and in hydrogen. Using batteries is currently 5-7 times higher unit cost than hydrogen. Battery technology is developing, but their price will not lower several times over, also their storage capacity cannot rise significantly. Hydrogen production price can surely lower two or three times, maybe even in the case of mass production even ten times cheaper.
