SekMo- Cross-Sectoral Mobility Measure

SekMo- Cross-Sectoral Mobility Measure

At H2Electro, we’re committed to advancing the future of green hydrogen production. We’re proud to share that we’ve received a grant of €49,050.96 for our project, “Design of a Production-Ready Solid Oxide Electrolyser Stack.”

🔹 Project Overview:

  • This project aims to develop an innovative stack design for solid oxide electrolysers, leveraging advanced modeling techniques and electrochemical experiments. Our goal is to significantly enhance the efficiency, durability, and sustainability of hydrogen production, thereby reducing CO2 and SOx emissions.

🔹 Project Goals and Expected Outcomes:

  • Innovative Design: Creating a novel stack design that integrates cutting-edge technologies and materials.
  • Power Output: Achieving a minimum power output of 1 kW to meet green hydrogen production needs and market expectations.
  • Stable Voltage: Ensuring the stack voltage increases by less than 0.5% over 1000 hours at a current density of 0.25 A/cm², demonstrating its stability and durability for long-term use.
  • High Current Density: Attaining a maximum current density of over 0.5 A/cm², showcasing the stack’s capability to produce green hydrogen efficiently and quickly.

These outcomes are not only scientifically significant but also contribute immensely to green hydrogen production by reducing carbon emissions and increasing production efficiency. Successfully completing this project will strengthen H2Electro’s position in the hydrogen technology sector and promote the adoption of eco-friendly solutions in the industry.

The funding was received through SekMo – the Cross-Sectoral Mobility Measure administered by the State Shared Service Centre (EST: Riigi Tugiteenuste Keskus).

We owe this achievement to the dedicated efforts of Karl Markus Villemson, our Grant Funding and Project Manager, who authored and manages the project. Additionally, we are proud to have Laur Kristjan Salvan as our Stack Development Engineer. Laur’s exceptional engineering skills, modeling experience, and metalwork knowledge are crucial to the successful execution of this project.

Stay tuned for more updates as we make strides in revolutionizing green hydrogen production!
